On August 20th, at the children's health camp "Aivazovsky," as part of the film season and the International Children's and Youth Film Festival "Clouds," a master class dedicated to animation and cinematic education was held. It was conducted by the festival jury chairman, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, production designer, director of animated films, and VGIK associate professor Leonid Pozhidayev.
During the master class, he talked about the peculiarities of students' work in the film industry and how participation in film festivals can be both interesting and beneficial for developing creative skills. He also showed his own cartoon and told about the features of voicing an animated character. The children were deeply engaged in the lecture and so interested that the master class went beyond its scheduled time frame!
